 The patient was a 55 year-old female,her chief complaint was numbness in Iegs
after brain tumor operation, the patient experienced sharp pain in feet when her
feet touch the floor after waking up in the morning, she also experienced weakness
in left arm and both legs, severe pain in knees(AX I , AXII ), and cramping;

the pain had gotten to a point where she could not squat because of the knee pain.
She had gone to many doctors with non effective results; she decided to come to
Enrac for treatment.

History of present illness

  The patient had been suffering from cold limbs since young age, she started to
have constipation, headache and waist and back soreness pain after marriage ;
7 years ago she started to blurred vision and watery eye, the doctor found a 6
inches tumor in her right brain, biopsies were performed and the result determined
the tumor was malignant.
The patient started to experience postoperative symptoms of poor memory,loss of
concentration, tightness in neck, poor sleep quality, choke when drinking liquids;
one year after the surgery she started to experience pain in her feet when touch the
floor after woken up from sleep, she was also bothered by medial (inner),
lateral knee pain (Iateral >medial), left hand weakness and cramping; then after
radiation therapy the patient started to experience dysgeusia,and tongue tastelessness
 she started to have chest pressure and nausea 2 months ago.

  Appearance of the patient and palpation result:

  Right sided face swelling, palpation pain in T5-10, Ll-S3  left>right.

Signs and Symptoms Analysis:

  1. Even though the patient had no history of injury or fever, her symptoms indicate
lesions of the Atlas.
2.  Poor memory, loss of concentration,poor sleep quaiity symptoms were caused
by inflammation related compression above Atlas, the accumulative effect also affected the diencephalon and caused blurred vision.
3. The inflammation above Atlas affected Medulla and caused neck shoulder
tightness, dysgeusia,excessive swallowing/saliva, choke when drinking liquids,
chest pressure and Nausea
4. The inflammation below Atlas caused soreness pain in waist and back area
(L2-3) lateral knee pain, heel pain and pain in lateral compartment of calves.
The inflammation of CN10 affected L1-L4 and gastrointestinal organs, liver,
kidney there were no obvious signs of symptoms
a closer examination revealed the patientonly experienccd pain in her feet after
woken up from sleep, the pain tended to go away afterward.

Conclusion
Even though all symptoms appeared to be general postoperative symptoms of
malignant brain tumor, the true cause was the accumulative ef'fects of the Atlas
lesions.
